"The enemy has more power over me now because my mind isn't sharp like it used to be."
How it sounds in your head: I forget Scripture, lose my train of thought mid-prayer, can't focus like I could. The enemy exploits confusion. My weakening mind gives him advantage I can't defend against anymore.
"For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day."

Memory genuinely declines, mental processing slows, and religious teaching emphasized 'renewing the mind' and 'taking thoughts captive' as YOUR work, so cognitive decline feels like losing spiritual ground.
Zechariah was OLD, doubted God's word, and was struck MUTE for nine months—complete communication breakdown. The moment he obeyed in naming John, his mouth IMMEDIATELY opened and he prophesied powerfully. Cognitive limitation didn't stop God's purpose.
I REFUSE the lie that mental decline gives the enemy advantage. IT IS WRITTEN that God is able to keep what I've committed to Him—my security is HIS ability, not my memory. Zechariah was struck mute and STILL fulfilled God's purpose. IT IS WRITTEN that I am kept by the power of God through faith—not by sharp thinking. The Holy Spirit REMINDS me of truth; I don't have to hold it all myself. The BARAK blessing protected Isaac even when he was old, blind, and DECEIVED. My covenant is secure regardless of cognitive changes.
The Father isn't worried about your fading memory—He REMEMBERS for you. Like the prodigal, your standing isn't based on your sharpness but on His unchanging love. The robe fits regardless of mental clarity.
