"Society has no use for women over 50; we become invisible and disposable."
How it sounds in your head: I walk into stores and salespeople look past me to younger women. I'm not in ads, not in movies except as the frumpy mom or grandma. Culture has decided women my age don't matter anymore unless we're rich or famous.
"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light."
-- 1 Peter 2:9Demonic cultural narrative that women's value expires with youth, designed to silence and sideline God's most powerful warriors.
She gets interrupted constantly. Men look through her like she's furniture. Media erases women her age unless they're punchlines. She feels erased from a culture that once noticed her.
During famine, God sent Elijah NOT to a wealthy family but to a poor, forgotten widow preparing her last meal before death. She gave from her lack, and her oil and flour NEVER RAN OUT for years—infinite provision from one act of obedience.
I REFUSE the lie that society has no use for me or that I'm invisible. IT IS WRITTEN that I am CHOSEN, a ROYAL priesthood, a HOLY nation, His own SPECIAL people. Culture doesn't define my value—GOD does. I am not invisible—I am clothed in GLORY. I am not disposable—I am INDISPENSABLE to His purposes. IT IS WRITTEN that I am the BLESSED of the Lord, highly favored, called according to His purpose. Society's blindness doesn't diminish my worth—it reveals their poverty. I am ROYALTY and I walk in the authority of a daughter of the King.
The Father sees you the way He saw the widow of Zarephath—overlooked by everyone else but CHOSEN by Him for infinite provision and a miracle that feeds multitudes. He's about to make you so VISIBLE in the Spirit that what ignored you will turn and SEEK you.
