"Satan is too strong; I don't have the strength to resist anymore."
How it sounds in your head: You're exhausted. You've fought for decades and you're just tired. How can you resist the devil when you can barely resist sleep? Young believers have energy for spiritual warfare—you're just trying to survive each day.
"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."
-- James 4:7Enemy deception that spiritual warfare depends on human strength or energy levels.
Physical exhaustion feels like spiritual exhaustion. When you're tired from just existing, the idea of 'fighting' anything seems impossible.
Facing three armies, outnumbered and weak, God said 'You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.' They sang worship and the enemies destroyed each other—instant victory without human strength.
I REFUSE the lie that Satan's strength matters more than Christ's finished work. IT IS WRITTEN that when I resist the devil, he WILL flee—not might, WILL. My resistance isn't about my energy; it's about my position in Christ. I don't fight FOR victory; I fight FROM victory. IT IS WRITTEN that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me—even at 90+, His strength is made perfect in my weakness. The BARAK covers me regardless of my physical state. Satan is a DEFEATED foe, period.
The Father sees your exhaustion and isn't asking you to summon strength you don't have. Like the Prodigal's father, He's running to embrace you in your weakness, whispering 'Rest in Me—I already beat him, and your only job is to stay close.'
