"Satan is too strong for me and I'll never be free from his influence over my life."
How it sounds in your head: I see him winning everywhere—in my thoughts, my fears, even my dreams. He feels more real and powerful than God does right now. Maybe I'm just one of those people he has special power over.
"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."
-- James 4:7Source: Enemy magnifying his own image while minimizing Christ's finished work, making her rate power by what she feels.
She feels his whispers more loudly than God's voice and sees his effects (fear, darkness) more clearly than God's presence. Feelings become her measure of spiritual reality.
A man so demon-possessed that chains couldn't hold him, living in tombs, cutting himself, completely dominated by Legion (thousands of demons). Jesus spoke ONE WORD and INSTANTLY the man was 'clothed and in his right mind'—from total bondage to complete freedom in one moment.
I REFUSE the lie that Satan is too strong for me. IT IS WRITTEN that when I resist the devil, he WILL FLEE from me—not because of my strength but because of whose Name I carry. Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. The enemy is a defeated foe with no legal authority over my life. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus disarmed him publicly and triumphed over him at the cross. I am not fighting to GET free—I AM free, and I'm just learning to walk in what's already true. The BARAK blessing protects me like it protected Abraham's descendants even in their worst moments. I am UNTOUCHABLE.
The Father doesn't see you in a tug-of-war with Satan—He sees you seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above all principality and power. Like the prodigal's father who didn't see a pig-smelling failure but a SON, your Father sees you in Christ, victorious and whole, right now.
