"Real healing takes time and process. Instant miracles are rare exceptions, not the normal Christian experience."
How it sounds in your head: Maybe I'll gradually improve over months or years of prayer and treatment. Instant healing sounds presumptuous. God usually works slowly through natural means. I should expect a process, not a miracle.
"Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction."
-- Mark 5:29Source: Process theology that makes gradual improvement seem more humble than expecting God's instantaneous power.
He's never seen an instant miracle personally, recovery from surgery took months, and teaching about 'seasons' and 'journeys' sounds more realistic than sudden transformation.
Servant paralyzed and suffering terribly, Jesus not even present physically. Jesus spoke the word, and the servant was healed 'that very HOUR' - instant healing at a distance, no process, no gradual improvement, immediate complete restoration.
I REFUSE the lie that healing requires time and process. IT IS WRITTEN that the woman's bleeding stopped IMMEDIATELY after 12 years - instant reversal of chronic condition. The biblical pattern is IMMEDIATE healing, not gradual improvement. IT IS WRITTEN that the centurion's servant was healed 'that very hour' Jesus spoke - distance and time don't limit God's power. I don't need to wait months or years. The same power that created the universe in WORDS creates healing in my body in MOMENTS. I receive instant healing NOW because the work was finished at the cross 2000 years ago.
The Father isn't making you wait to prove yourself or test your patience - He's already running toward you with immediate healing because the work was finished at Calvary, and your breakthrough is already accomplished in the finished work. You're not waiting on Him; He's waiting on you to receive.
