You've watched reckless people reject medical treatment and die, seeming to prove that seeking miracles without doctors is foolish. The either/or feels necessary to avoid dangerous extremes.
Hezekiah was sick to death—Isaiah said 'set your house in order, you will die.' Hezekiah prayed desperately and God IMMEDIATELY sent Isaiah back with 'I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears, I will add fifteen years to your life.' God used a fig poultice AND a miracle—both/and, not either/or.
I REFUSE the lie that seeking miracles is unwise. IT IS WRITTEN 'I am the LORD that healeth thee'—HE is my healer, my source, my first call, not my last resort. I can receive medical help without making medicine my god. IT IS WRITTEN in Jeremiah 17:14 'Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed'—I look to HIM first. I am Abraham's seed where the BARAK blessing brings health—Isaac's wealth AND health came by covenant, not doctors. I stand in Christ where by His stripes I WAS healed—past tense, finished work, regardless of medical opinions.
Your Father isn't offended if you see a doctor—He invented the human body doctors study. But He wants to be your SOURCE, not your afterthought. He's running toward you with healing in His wings, not waiting for you to exhaust every medical option first before He'll consider your case.
