"Other religions seem similar to Christianity, so maybe none of them are actually true."
How it sounds in your head: My friend says all religions are basically the same—be good and you go to heaven. Maybe Christians just think they're right because they were born in a Christian country. It all seems random.
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'"
-- John 14:6Postmodern spirit teaching that all truth is relative, denying that Jesus is THE way exclusively.
He sees that people in other countries believe their religion just as strongly. It feels arrogant to say Christianity is the only right one when everyone thinks they're right.
Elijah challenged 450 prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel to call down fire from their god while he called on the Lord. Baal didn't answer despite hours of crying; God answered IMMEDIATELY with fire that consumed the sacrifice, wood, stones, and water—proving He alone is God!
I REFUSE the lie that all religions lead to the same place! IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus is THE way, not A way. Every other religion says 'do enough'—only Jesus says 'It is FINISHED!' That's not similarity; that's total opposition! IT IS WRITTEN that there is no other name by which we must be saved. When Elijah tested the prophets of Baal, only the true God answered! I am Abraham's seed, blessed in the ONE true covenant, and Jesus isn't my culture's preference—He's the Creator of the universe who proved His identity by resurrection!
The Father isn't one option in a buffet of gods—He's the ONLY God who ran toward humanity in the form of Jesus. Every religion is man reaching for God; Christianity is God reaching for man.
