"Nobody wants to hear from a middle-aged woman. I should stay quiet."
How it sounds in your head: You have things to say, but who wants to hear from you? The world platforms young influencers. Churches want young worship leaders. You're the wrong demographic—too old to be cool, too young to be a wise elder. Just stay in the background.
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy."
-- Acts 2:17-18Cultural silencing of women over 40; religious spirit shutting down female voices; enemy assignment to abort wisdom before it's released.
She sees platforms given to younger voices while hers is overlooked. She's been dismissed in meetings, interrupted by men, and culturally invisible—making silence feel safer than rejection.
When King Josiah needed a word from God, he didn't go to the male prophets Jeremiah or Zephaniah who were active at the time—he went to HULDAH the prophetess. A woman's voice spoke destiny over the king and reformation over the nation.
I REFUSE the lie that my voice doesn't matter or that I should stay quiet. IT IS WRITTEN that God pours out His Spirit on daughters and maidservants and they SHALL PROPHESY. Huldah spoke to kings; Deborah led nations; Anna prophesied over Messiah. My age and gender don't silence me—they EMPOWER me with wisdom the world needs. IT IS WRITTEN in 1 Corinthians 1:27 that God chose the foolish things to shame the wise. I am chosen, anointed, and COMMISSIONED to speak. My voice MATTERS.
Father isn't asking you to prove your voice deserves a platform—He's GIVING you one and declaring: 'Speak, daughter; I've prepared ears to hear.' Like the prodigal, you don't earn the right to speak at the table; you BELONG there.
