"My womb is cursed because of generational sin or family patterns of infertility."
How it sounds in your head: My mom struggled to conceive, my grandmother had miscarriages, and now it's happening to me. There must be a family curse I can't break.
"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree')."
-- Galatians 3:13Enemy: Uses family history to convince you you're destined to repeat patterns, ignoring that Christ already broke every curse.
Biological patterns seem to prove generational curses, and seeing your mother's or grandmother's struggles repeated in your body feels like inescapable destiny. Spiritual warfare teaching often emphasizes breaking family curses through specific prayers or deliverance.
Ruth was a Moabite—her entire nation was cursed and forbidden from entering God's assembly for ten generations (Deut 23:3). Yet God opened her womb and made her King David's great-grandmother, placing her in the Messianic line—from cursed lineage to blessed fruitfulness instantly.
I REFUSE the lie that my womb is cursed because of family patterns. IT IS WRITTEN that Christ redeemed me from EVERY curse, becoming a curse so I could walk in blessing. Generational patterns bow to the cross—I am a NEW creation in Christ, and old family history has passed away. IT IS WRITTEN in Galatians 3:29 that I am Abraham's seed and heir according to PROMISE, not according to family dysfunction. The BARAK blessing overrode Ruth's cursed lineage and made her fruitful. My womb operates under covenant, not family history.
The Father isn't looking at your family tree—He's looking at the cross where every curse was already broken. He made a cursed Moabite woman King David's great-grandmother; your family history doesn't intimidate Him.
