"My womb is cursed because I've been sexually active or had an abortion in my past."
How it sounds in your head: Every negative test feels like God's punishment. The enemy whispers that my body remembers every mistake. I'm terrified the daughter I want will never come because of what I've done.
"Sing, O barren, you who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married woman, says the LORD."
-- Isaiah 54:1Religion teaches blood guilt carries forward, that reproductive organs hold sin's consequences.
The physical reality of infertility seems to correlate perfectly with past sexual choices. Medical professionals can't explain why conception won't happen, so shame fills the gap.
Rahab was an active prostitute when God chose her—she conceived Boaz and became great-grandmother to King David, direct line to Jesus. Her sexual past didn't disqualify her womb; God put the Messiah in her lineage.
I REFUSE the lie that my womb remembers my past. IT IS WRITTEN that I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, and NO curse can attach to what God has made righteous. My womb is blessed by the Abrahamic covenant—the same blessing that protected liars and deceivers protects me now. I am the DESOLATE that Isaiah 54:1 commands to SING because MORE children are coming to me than I can imagine. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus became a curse so I could walk in BLESSING, and I receive that blessing over my reproductive system RIGHT NOW. I am fruitful, I am blessed, I am the Lord's and He is making a way.
The Father isn't withholding children until you've suffered enough for past choices—He's running toward you with the baby blanket already prepared. The prodigal didn't earn the robe; she received it while still smelling like pigs, and your womb receives blessing the same way.
