"My skills and talents are useless and unwanted."
How it sounds in your head: I've tried to contribute what I'm good at and it's been rejected, overlooked, or criticized. Maybe I'm not actually good at anything that matters. Maybe what I bring just isn't needed.
"For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable."
-- Romans 11:29Rejection wound from past criticism now interpreted as proof of worthlessness rather than wrong assignment or timing.
You've applied skills in wrong environments or before the right season, and the enemy uses past rejection to convince you the gift itself is the problem instead of the placement.
Told by King Saul he was useless against Goliath—just a boy with no armor or training. David used the exact skills from shepherding (sling, stones, protecting sheep) to drop a giant that same day and become a national hero.
I REFUSE the lie that my skills are useless or unwanted. IT IS WRITTEN that the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable—what He placed in me is PERMANENT and PURPOSED. Past rejection was wrong placement, not wrong gift. IT IS WRITTEN that the Lord will command the blessing on my storehouses and everything I set my hand to. What I carry is needed, wanted, and about to be unleashed in the right room at the right time for Kingdom impact that will shock me.
The Father isn't waiting for you to develop different gifts—He's preparing the STAGE for the ones you already have. What felt rejected yesterday is about to be celebrated tomorrow.
