"My prostate cancer or terminal diagnosis is God's way of 'taking me home'—I should just accept it and prepare to die."
How it sounds in your head: The doctor said Stage 4. You're 85—you've had a good run. Maybe this is God's timing. Fighting it feels like fighting God. Other men your age have died; why should you be different? Maybe it's pride to ask for healing when you're this old. Time to get your affairs in order and wait for heaven.
"I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD."
-- Psalm 118:17Religious fatalism—the lie that God authors disease as an 'exit plan,' that accepting death is more spiritual than fighting for life, that old age disqualifies you from healing.
You ARE old. The diagnosis IS serious. People die at your age every day. Fighting feels exhausting, and accepting it feels peaceful—like surrendering to God's will instead of your own.
Isaiah told Hezekiah 'Set your house in order, for you shall DIE'—a prophetic death sentence. Hezekiah prayed, God heard, and BEFORE ISAIAH LEFT THE BUILDING, God added fifteen years to his life. The 'prepare to die' word was REVERSED by prayer—instant breakthrough, supernatural extension.
I REFUSE the lie that this diagnosis is God's exit plan. IT IS WRITTEN that I shall NOT DIE but LIVE and declare the works of the Lord. Death is an ENEMY Jesus defeated, not a tool God uses. Cancer is the curse; healing is the blessing, and Christ redeemed me FROM the curse. IT IS WRITTEN that by His stripes I AM healed—present tense, purchased reality. Hezekiah had a prophetic death sentence REVERSED by prayer. My age doesn't disqualify me from supernatural intervention. The BARAK covers me NOW—I am blessed in my body, and I declare LIFE over every cell, every organ, every system. I'm not done yet.
Your Father isn't authoring disease to bring you home—He sent Jesus to DESTROY death and give you abundant LIFE. He's not waiting for you to 'accept your fate'; He's inviting you to declare HIS WORD over your body and watch Him move, because you're still His son and miracles don't have age limits.
