"My parents' poverty proves God doesn't care about my family"
How it sounds in your head: We never have enough money. I see other kids with new stuff while we struggle. If God really loved us, wouldn't He provide? Maybe we're cursed or God just doesn't care about people like us.
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
-- Philippians 4:19Religion/World - poverty as evidence of God's distance or punishment
The lack is visible and constant—comparing to classmates makes the gap feel like abandonment. Church platitudes about 'God will provide' ring hollow when the bills are overdue.
She was down to her LAST MEAL—literally gathering sticks to cook final food before she and her son starved to death during famine. INSTANTLY, God turned one meal into UNLIMITED SUPPLY—the flour and oil never ran out for YEARS, from one act of obedience.
I REFUSE the lie that poverty proves God's distance! IT IS WRITTEN that God supplies ALL my need according to HIS RICHES! My family's financial situation doesn't determine God's love—the BARAK blessing of Abraham is mine through Christ. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed coming in and going out, the Lord commands blessing on my storehouses, I lend and don't borrow. I am the HEAD not the tail, ABOVE ONLY and not beneath! Provision is my covenant right!
Your Father isn't waiting for your family to budget better or work harder—He's already released the blessing. Like the widow's oil that multiplied INSTANTLY, breakthrough can come today, not after years of process.
