"My metabolism slowing down is punishment for past dietary sins and neglect."
How it sounds in your head: You ate terribly in your twenties and thirties—pizza, fast food, no exercise. Now your body won't cooperate. This is payback. You're reaping what you sowed. You did this to yourself and deserve the consequences.
"I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins."
-- Isaiah 43:25Enemy twisting the law of sowing/reaping into karmic punishment rather than agricultural principle, making God the enforcer.
There IS a correlation between past choices and present body state. Science confirms metabolic changes with age. The timeline fits the crime-and-punishment narrative perfectly.
The thief lived an entire life of crime, making terrible choices with zero 'reaping blessings' from good behavior. Jesus didn't say 'process your consequences first.' He said 'TODAY you will be with Me in Paradise'—instant forgiveness, instant inheritance, zero karma collection.
I REFUSE the lie that my body's changes are punishment for past choices. IT IS WRITTEN in Isaiah 43:25 that God blots out my transgressions and will NOT REMEMBER my sins—that includes every dietary choice I regret. Christ redeemed me from the curse, and I am under blessing, not karma. IT IS WRITTEN in Joel 2:25 that God restores the years the locusts have eaten. The BARAK blessing declares I am blessed in the city and field, coming in and going out, and God commands blessing on everything I set my hand to—including my health and body. My Father is a restorer, not a scorekeeper. I receive restoration and renewal NOW.
Your Father isn't keeping a ledger of your pizza nights to punish you with later. He's the Father who killed the fattened calf for the son who wasted everything—throwing a feast, not collecting debts, celebrating return, not calculating consequences.
