"My medical bills are too high—I can't afford both medicine and tithing"
How it sounds in your head: It's literally life or death. My prescriptions cost hundreds every month. Choosing between health and tithing isn't even a choice—survival wins. God wouldn't want me to die to tithe. This is a legitimate exception.
"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
-- 3 John 1:2Source: false choice created by enemy to separate provision from its source, fear-based thinking that positions natural needs against covenant obedience
The pharmacy receipt is real, the costs are non-negotiable, and the body is failing. Medicine is measurable and necessary; tithing feels optional by comparison.
She spent EVERYTHING she had on physicians for twelve years—bankrupt from medical bills, still sick, no money left, no hope left. She pressed through to touch Jesus and was INSTANTLY healed—then Jesus called her 'Daughter' and said 'your faith has made you well.' Her twelve-year medical expense nightmare ended in one moment of faith contact with covenant.
I REFUSE the lie that I must choose between medicine and tithing. IT IS WRITTEN that God's will is that I prosper in ALL things and be in HEALTH—both provision and healing are mine. My God supplies ALL my need—medicine AND tithe, health AND covenant blessing. IT IS WRITTEN in Malachi 3:11 that God rebukes the devourer for my sake—that includes sickness and medical poverty. I am Abraham's seed with the BARAK blessing, and the woman with the issue touched covenant and was instantly healed from twelve years of medical bankruptcy. I put God first, and He supplies EVERYTHING—health, provision, medicine, abundance. My covenant covers ALL.
The Father doesn't look at your medical bills and prescription costs and say 'I understand—pause the covenant until you're healthy.' He looks at your need and says 'Put Me first and watch Me supply the medicine AND explode provision AND release healing—I'm not either/or, I'm BOTH/AND abundance.'
