"My family's instability and chaos is our normal"
How it sounds in your head: We've never had peace. There's always crisis, always drama, always someone in trouble. My grandparents lived this way, my parents lived this way, now my kids live this way. Stability isn't for people like us. We're survivors, not people who thrive.
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
-- John 14:27Enemy lie that chaos is identity and peace is for 'other people,' denying rest as covenant inheritance.
She's never experienced sustained peace in her family and constantly responds to crises in younger generations. Decades of this pattern make stability feel like an impossible fantasy for 'other kinds of families.'
Beaten with rods, feet in stocks, in the INNER PRISON (maximum security), backs bleeding—total chaos and injustice. At MIDNIGHT they're SINGING worship songs, so filled with peace that an EARTHQUAKE comes, chains fall off, and the jailer and his whole family get saved—supernatural peace IN chaos producing instant breakthrough.
I REFUSE the lie that chaos is my family's identity. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus GIVES His peace—not as the world gives, but as INHERITANCE. My family's peace doesn't depend on circumstances being stable; His peace GUARDS us through every storm. We are not survivors barely getting by; we are BLESSED coming in and going out by the BARAK covenant. IT IS WRITTEN that we have the peace that SURPASSES understanding. Like Paul and Silas, we can have PEACE in the prison, WORSHIP in the chaos, and watch God bring BREAKTHROUGH through our rest, not our striving. Stability is NOW, not someday when everything settles. Peace is GIVEN, not earned.
The Father isn't waiting for your family's circumstances to calm down before He gives peace. He's offering supernatural peace RIGHT NOW, in the middle of the chaos—the kind that makes you sing at midnight in prison and produces earthquakes that break every chain, just like Paul and Silas.
