IT IS WRITTEN in 1 Peter 2:24 that by His stripes I WAS healed—past tense, finished 2,000 years ago. My family's medical history does NOT override God's covenant promises. I am Abraham's seed through Christ, and the BARAK blessing includes divine HEALTH, not hereditary disease. IT IS WRITTEN that He heals ALL my diseases. Not some. ALL. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and LIFE lives in me.
The Father doesn't see you as a pre-cancerous, pre-diabetic collection of genetic risk factors. He sees you carrying the same resurrection LIFE that raised Jesus from the dead. He's not waiting for you to get your family's diseases—He's already healed you before they could start.
