You did develop spiritual sensitivity through New Age practices, and it feels tainted. When you pray and sense something, you second-guess whether it's God, demons, or your imagination because you trained yourself to hear the wrong thing first.
The Magi were literal OCCULT PRACTITIONERS—astrologers who consulted the stars for spiritual guidance. God spoke to them through a DREAM with such clarity that they completely changed their travel plans to avoid Herod. No verse says they needed spiritual reprogramming first—God spoke clearly to occultists and they heard Him.
I REFUSE the lie that New Age practices corrupted my ability to hear God's voice. IT IS WRITTEN that His sheep hear His voice, and I AM His sheep. God speaks clearly to those who belong to Him, regardless of their past. IT IS WRITTEN that the Holy Spirit will guide me into all truth. My spiritual ears are not damaged—they are REDEEMED and tuned to the frequency of heaven. The BARAK blessing includes divine communication, wisdom, and revelation because I'm in COVENANT with the God who SPEAKS. I hear His voice and follow Him.
The Father isn't shouting louder to overcome your 'damaged receiver'—He's speaking in the still small voice that penetrates every barrier because you're His child and His sheep KNOW His voice. He spoke clearly to occult practitioners in Scripture; how much more to His beloved son?
