"My doubt canceled the miracle God was about to give me"
How it sounds in your head: I almost had it—I could feel the breakthrough coming. Then I had one moment of doubt, one fearful thought, and I lost it. I sabotaged my own miracle. If only I'd held on to faith five more minutes.
"He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God."
-- Romans 4:20Teaching that God's promises are like soap bars—one doubtful thought and they slip through your fingers
She's heard testimonies of people who 'stood in faith' and received. She's heard warnings that doubt opens the door to the enemy. Her timeline of 'almost breakthrough then nothing' seems to confirm she broke the faith contract.
God promised Gideon victory. Gideon doubted SO MUCH he asked for a sign—then doubted the SIGN and asked for another. God gave him BOTH signs, then gave him the victory exactly as promised. Gideon's doubt didn't cancel God's promise.
I REFUSE the lie that my moment of doubt canceled Heaven's delivery truck. IT IS WRITTEN that Abraham did not waver—but he LAUGHED at God's promise and still received. My doubt doesn't override God's covenant. IT IS WRITTEN that God is faithful even when we are faithless—He cannot deny Himself. I am sealed by the Holy Spirit. I am kept by HIS power, not mine. The barak blessing protected Jacob the DECEIVER and Judah the ADULTERER. My moment of fear doesn't disqualify me from covenant promises.
The Father isn't pacing Heaven saying, 'She was SO CLOSE but then she doubted—cancel the miracle!' He's saying, 'My promises aren't dependent on her perfect faith performance. I'm not a vending machine that shuts down when she pushes the wrong button. I'm her FATHER.'
