"My divorce proves I never really knew God or had real faith."
How it sounds in your head: If I really trusted God, He would have saved the marriage. Maybe I was never truly saved. Maybe my whole Christian life was a sham, and the divorce is proof I was fooling myself. Real believers don't end up divorced.
"If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself."

He's watched 'godly couples' stay together and wonders if his divorce reveals he was never truly in relationship with God. Religious voices say 'real faith produces results,' so failed marriage must equal failed faith.
Peter denied Jesus three times after swearing he'd die for Him—total faith failure at the critical moment. Jesus didn't question Peter's salvation or relationship with Him. He instantly restored Peter and made him the leader of the early church without probation.
I REFUSE the lie that my divorce proves I lack faith. IT IS WRITTEN that even when I am faithless, HE remains faithful. My salvation is sealed by the HOLY SPIRIT, not by my circumstances. IT IS WRITTEN in Ephesians 1:13-14 that I am sealed for the day of redemption. My marriage status doesn't define my relationship with God—Jesus' blood does. I am not a fake believer; I am a BELOVED SON walking through human pain with a faithful Father who never lets go. My faith is in HIS performance, not mine.
Your Father never questioned your salvation because of your divorce. He knows your heart, He's walked every painful step with you, and He's never considered abandoning you. You're His child by blood covenant, not by marital success.
