"My deconstruction has gone too far; I can't find my way back to God now."
How it sounds in your head: You've questioned so much that you don't know what you believe anymore. You've walked away from toxic teachings but feel lost without them. Maybe you've crossed a line, thought things you can't unthink, and now the door back is closed.
"Therefore, behold, I will allure her, will bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfort to her."
-- Hosea 2:14Source: Enemy lies that present distance from religion as distance from God, as if they're the same thing.
You've rejected harmful teachings and now everything feels uncertain. Adults warned you about 'falling away,' and you fear you've done exactly that, past the point of no return.
Jacob was running away from home after deceiving his father and brother, sleeping in the wilderness using a rock as a pillow, completely alone and lost. God showed up in a dream with a ladder to heaven, made covenant promises, and Jacob woke up saying 'Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.'
I REFUSE the lie that I've deconstructed too far to return to God. IT IS WRITTEN that God HIMSELF allures His daughters into the wilderness to speak comfort and truth. I haven't lost God—I'm losing the LIES about God. IT IS WRITTEN that Jacob was running away in total confusion and God showed up anyway, making promises that couldn't be broken. The BARAK blessing follows me even in the wilderness. I am NOT too far, NOT too lost, and NOT beyond reach. I am EXACTLY where God can do His best work—clearing lies and building TRUTH.
Your Father is the One who led you into this wilderness to burn away the religious garbage that was suffocating your real faith. He's been walking beside you the whole time, waiting for you to discover He's not who broken people said He was, and He's running toward you with the REAL story.
