"My body is supposed to break down now that I'm getting older and hitting puberty."
How it sounds in your head: Everyone says puberty is awkward and painful. My body feels weird and uncomfortable. The adults joke about 'getting old' even though I'm just a kid. Maybe feeling bad in my body is just normal now.
"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust."
-- Joel 2:25Source: World system that teaches aging equals automatic decline, combined with cultural mockery of puberty as a curse rather than blessing.
His body IS changing rapidly and sometimes feels uncomfortable or clumsy. He hears adults constantly complain about their bodies and age, teaching him this is the expected pattern.
Caleb was 85 years old and declared, 'I am as strong today as I was forty-five years ago.' God gave him INSTANT strength to conquer mountains at an age when the world says you should retire.
I REFUSE the lie that my body must break down as I grow. IT IS WRITTEN that God RESTORES the years the locust has eaten. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and HE is renewing me daily. IT IS WRITTEN in Isaiah 40:31 that those who wait on the Lord renew their strength like eagles. I am under the BARAK blessing—blessed coming in and going out, blessed in my body at EVERY age. My best years are not behind me; they are RIGHT NOW and ahead of me because I am connected to the VINE who never declines.
Your Father is running toward you with the ring of authority for THIS season of your life. He designed puberty as an UPGRADE, not a downgrade—just like Jesus grew in wisdom, stature, and favor, so are you.
