"My body is failing because we're in the last days and creation is groaning under judgment"
How it sounds in your head: My body is breaking down—joints hurt, memory slipping, energy gone. Maybe this is just what happens in the end times. Creation is groaning under the curse, right? Perhaps I'm supposed to accept this decay as part of the world falling apart before Jesus returns.
"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
-- 3 John 1:2Enemy mixture of legitimate aging with eschatological fatalism that makes sickness theological instead of defeatable.
Her body IS declining at 80+, Romans 8 DOES mention creation groaning, and she's tired of fighting physical limitations. Accepting it as 'end times' feels less exhausting than continuing to believe for healing.
At 120 years old, Moses died not from disease or decay but because God took him. Scripture says 'his eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished.' At 120, he had the strength and vision of a young man. Covenant kept him strong until God decided his finish.
I REFUSE the lie that my body's decline is prophetic inevitability. IT IS WRITTEN that God's will for me is to prosper in ALL things and be in HEALTH. By His stripes I WAS healed—past tense, finished work. IT IS WRITTEN that even to old age and gray hairs, He carries and delivers me. Like Moses whose strength didn't diminish at 120, covenant preserves me. The BARAK includes 'The Lord will take away from you all sickness.' I declare HEALTH, not decay as my portion.
Your Father doesn't see your aging body as prophetic fulfillment—He sees you as His beloved daughter He's carrying to the finish line with supernatural strength. Like the prodigal's father who RAN to his son, God runs toward you with healing, not away from you because you're old.
