"My body is changing and I'll never adjust. Sleep will always be hard now."

How it sounds in your head: Ever since my body started developing, sleep got weird. Hormones, growing pains, feeling uncomfortable in my own skin—it's like my body became the enemy. This is just how it is now.

2 Corinthians 5:17

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."

-- 2 Corinthians 5:17
Enemy whispers: Your changing body sentenced you to permanent sleep problems. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: 2 Corinthians 5:17 - 'If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.' ALL THINGS. Not 'all things except hormonal transitions.' Your body changing doesn't override your identity as a new creation. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 139:13-14, 'You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. I am fearfully and wonderfully made.' He's not surprised by puberty—He DESIGNED it, and His design includes REST. The same God who orchestrated your first breath is orchestrating this transition. Trust His design.
Quick Truth: LIE: My changing body ruined sleep forever. TRUTH: You're a new creation—all things, including transitions, become new. (2 Cor 5:17)

World system teaching that puberty equals suffering and adjustment is long painful process, rather than supernatural grace available for every transition.

Why this feels true:

The timing is undeniable—sleep got harder right when her body started changing. She hears older girls and women complain about hormones affecting sleep, making it feel like an inevitable life sentence.

1 Samuel 1:17-18
Hannah

Hannah was barren, weeping in bitterness, body not working as desired, couldn't eat. The priest blessed her and IMMEDIATELY 'her face was no longer sad'—before circumstances changed, before conception, instant peace in her body.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that my changing body cancels God's promises. IT IS WRITTEN that I am a new creation—ALL THINGS become new, including how my body responds to transitions. The same Jesus who calmed storms with a word can speak peace to my hormones. My body isn't the enemy—it's the temple of the Holy Spirit, and He doesn't dwell in chaos. IT IS WRITTEN in Philippians 1:6, 'He who has begun a good work in you will complete it.' He's not confused by puberty. He started the good work of my development, and He'll complete it—including restful sleep. The Barak blessing includes being blessed in my BODY—'Blessed shall be the fruit of your body' (Deut 28:4). My changing body is BLESSED territory.

But God actually:

Your Father isn't shaking His head at your developing body saying, 'Well, there goes her sleep for the next decade.' He designed every hormonal shift with precision, and His design includes PEACE. He's not waiting for your body to stabilize—He's already speaking 'peace, be still' to every system, and your body must obey because He's the Creator, not a consultant waiting on biology's permission.
