"My body is betraying me—I'm losing myself piece by piece."
How it sounds in your head: Every year something else stops working. Joints, memory, hearing, control. You're watching yourself disappear in slow motion. This isn't you. You're trapped in a failing machine.
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day."
-- 2 Corinthians 4:16Enemy magnifying physical decline to obscure eternal identity and coming resurrection.
Your body literally is failing. Functions you took for granted now require assistance. The mirror shows a stranger.
At 100 years old, body 'as good as dead,' Sarah's womb dead—physically impossible. 'He did not waver through unbelief but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God.' INSTANT conception despite biological death. The body's limits didn't limit God.
I REFUSE the lie that my body's decline defines me. IT IS WRITTEN that though my outer man perishes, my inner man is renewed DAILY. I am spirit, I have a soul, I live in a body—the body is temporary housing, not my identity. The BARAK blessing covers me even as Abraham's dead body produced Isaac at 100. IT IS WRITTEN this body will be transformed to be like Christ's glorious body. I'm not losing myself—I'm being prepared for upgrade.
The Father sees past the wrinkles and weakness to the eternal you—radiant, whole, perfect. He's not mourning your decline; He's anticipating your reveal. Like a caterpillar in a cocoon, the best version is coming.
