"My body has betrayed me. I can't trust it anymore."
How it sounds in your head: It turned against you. Your own cells became the enemy. You can't rely on the very flesh that's supposed to carry you through life. Every symptom feels like betrayal, every flare-up like an ambush from within.
"But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you."
-- Romans 8:11Enemy sowing division between you and your own body—making you war against yourself instead of against the sickness attacking you.
The pain is real. The malfunction is measurable. Your body IS doing things it shouldn't, failing at things it used to handle easily. Trusting it again feels naive when it's proven unreliable.
His body didn't just malfunction—it DIED and started decomposing for four days. If anyone's body betrayed them, it was Lazarus. But Jesus spoke one word—'Lazarus, come forth!'—and LIFE flooded dead cells instantly. Decomposition reversed. Betrayal undone.
I REFUSE to war against my own body. My body is not my enemy—it's the TEMPLE of the Holy Spirit, and sickness is the illegal intruder. IT IS WRITTEN that the Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead gives LIFE to my mortal body. Every cell is being flooded with resurrection power right now. I speak to my body the way Jesus spoke to Lazarus: LIVE. Function the way God designed you. IT IS WRITTEN that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, and that includes THIS body, in THIS moment. The BARAK blessing flows through my bloodstream—I am blessed coming in and going out, and that includes blessed in every bodily function.
The Father isn't angry at your body for malfunctioning—He's angry at the sickness attacking His daughter. He's the same Father who wept at Lazarus's tomb, furious at death itself, and then COMMANDED life back into dead flesh. He's commanding life into yours right now.
