"My blood pact with darkness as a young man still binds me."
How it sounds in your head: I did something stupid and irreversible in my twenties—a ritual, a vow, maybe even blood. Now I'm dying and wonder if that pact supersedes my faith in Christ.
"how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?"
-- Hebrews 9:14Enemy lie that human covenant with darkness exceeds divine covenant with Christ.
The memory feels binding, almost legal, and he fears spiritual contracts he doesn't understand. Physical weakness makes spiritual threats feel more real.
Many who practiced magic came confessing and telling their deeds. Those who practiced curious arts brought their books and BURNED them publicly—fifty thousand pieces of silver worth. No complicated ritual to break pacts—just confession and burning bridges with the past. The word of God prevailed mightily.
I REFUSE the lie that my blood pact still binds me. IT IS WRITTEN that the blood of Christ cleanses my conscience from dead works—and that old pact is a DEAD WORK. The Ephesians burned fifty thousand pieces of silver in magic books with no fear of retaliation because God's word PREVAILED. IT IS WRITTEN that I have been bought with a price—the blood of Jesus, which is infinitely more powerful than any blood I shed in ignorance. Every vow is VOID, every ritual is REVERSED, every pact is POWERLESS under the blood of the Lamb. I belong to Christ by covenant, not to darkness by stupidity.
The Father doesn't honor contracts you made with darkness—He CANCELS them with the blood of His Son. You're not bound by your worst moment; you're FREE by His best sacrifice.
