"My abortion was too evil for God to forgive; I murdered my own child."
How it sounds in your head: Other sins are covered, but not this one. I ended a life—my baby's life. Every Mother's Day is a reminder. Every pregnancy announcement cuts. I see the 'abortion is murder' signs and know they're right about me. God can't just wipe away a death I chose.
"As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us."
-- Psalm 103:12Source: religious condemnation that treats abortion as the one sin outside grace, creating a hierarchy of forgivability.
The grief is real, the loss is permanent, and the shame has a different weight than other mistakes. You carry a secret that feels like it would make even grace-preaching Christians recoil if they knew, so God must recoil too.
Moses MURDERED an Egyptian and hid the body in the sand—premeditated killing, cover-up included. God still called him from the burning bush, made him deliverer of Israel, and let him write the Torah—the very law that says 'You shall not murder.'
I REFUSE the lie that my abortion is outside the reach of Calvary. IT IS WRITTEN that the blood of Jesus cleanses from ALL sin—not all except this one. God doesn't have a hierarchy of forgivability; He has a cross that covers EVERYTHING. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, not because of my choices but because of His blood. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NOW no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. My identity is daughter, not murderer. The enemy wants me silenced by shame, but I am covered by the BARAK—the blessing that protected liars and deceivers and now protects me. I receive full forgiveness NOW.
The Father isn't waiting for you to carry this burden long enough to 'pay' for it—He's grieving that you're still holding what He already carried to the cross. He sees the baby you'll meet in eternity, already safely with Him, and He's inviting you into that same safety NOW, pigpen smell and all.
