How it sounds in your head: If we'd stayed poor and simple, this wouldn't have happened. Money is the root of evil. We'd have been better off with less. Wealth destroyed us.

The marriage ended over financial betrayal. If there had been nothing to hide or fight over, maybe they'd still be together. Poverty seems safer and holier.
Job was richest man in the east AND blameless before God - wealth didn't corrupt him. After loss, God DOUBLED his wealth in latter years - 'the LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning.' God MULTIPLIES wealth for the righteous.
I REFUSE the lie that money corrupts or destroyed me. IT IS WRITTEN that riches and wealth are the GIFT OF GOD. Abraham was extremely RICH and called friend of God. Job was richest in the east and BLAMELESS. IT IS WRITTEN the LOVE of money is evil, not money itself. The BARAK blessing includes WEALTH - blessed in storehouses, lending not borrowing. SIN misused provision - provision itself is GOOD. God takes PLEASURE in my prosperity. I am Abraham's seed, heir to the BLESSING which includes abundant PROVISION for generosity and joy.
The Father isn't punishing you with poverty to keep you holy. He's the God who made JOB twice as wealthy AFTER suffering - prosperity is His PLEASURE for His children, not a test or trap.
