"Mom works so hard. I'm just another burden she has to carry."
How it sounds in your head: You see how tired she is. You hear her on the phone stressed about bills. You cost money—food, clothes, activities. You feel guilty for needing anything. Maybe everyone's life would be easier if you required less.
"Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb is a reward."
-- Psalm 127:3Enemy twisting observation of hardship into personal guilt, making child feel like liability instead of blessing.
You DO cost money. Mom IS stressed. When you ask for something, you see her face tighten. These are real observations. The enemy just adds the wrong conclusion.
Widow was down to her LAST MEAL—one handful of flour for her and her son, then starvation. Elijah showed up and asked her to feed HIM first. She obeyed, and the flour and oil NEVER RAN OUT—supernatural provision flowed BECAUSE of the son's presence, not despite it.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm a burden to my mom. IT IS WRITTEN that children are a HERITAGE from the Lord, a REWARD. IT IS WRITTEN in Philippians 4:19 that God supplies ALL needs according to His riches in glory. I am Abraham's seed—the BARAK blessing of provision is on me. The widow's oil multiplied with her son present. I don't drain provision—I carry blessing. God didn't make a mistake creating me. My Father is commanding blessing on my mom's finances RIGHT NOW because I'm in her house. I am the treasure, not the cost.
God sees your mom's stress and your tender heart trying to require less. He's not asking you to disappear—He's about to show up as Provider because you're both His kids. The blessing isn't despite you; it's THROUGH you.
