"Medication is the only real solution and proves I can't hear from God for healing."
How it sounds in your head: I've tried prayer. I've tried faith. Nothing works like the pills do. That must mean I'm faithless or God doesn't work that way anymore. Real Christians can hear God for healing; I need pharmaceuticals because I'm spiritually weak.
"Is there no balm in Gilead, is there no physician there? Why then is there no recovery for the health of the daughter of my people?"
-- Jeremiah 8:22Religion - false dichotomy between medicine and faith, adding shame to practical help.
The medication actually helps when prayer seemed not to. The evidence is undeniable—you sleep on meds, don't sleep without them. It feels like faith failed and science succeeded, proving you're not anointed enough for divine healing.
Hezekiah was dying. Isaiah brought God's promise of healing—then told him to apply a FIG POULTICE (medicine). God used both supernatural word AND natural remedy. The healing was divine, the method was practical, and nobody questioned Hezekiah's faith.
I REFUSE the lie that medication disqualifies me from divine healing. IT IS WRITTEN that God asks 'Is there no balm, no physician?'—He provides both supernatural and natural help. Using medicine is not evidence of weak faith; it's receiving God's provision through human discovery. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 103:3, God 'forgives all your iniquities' AND 'heals all your diseases'—He does both, through whatever means He chooses. I receive rest through medication without shame, and I remain open to instant healing, because both are His kindness.
Your Father isn't disappointed that you need medication—He's the one who created the chemistry that helps you, guiding scientists to discover what your body needs. Like Hezekiah with his fig poultice, practical help is still divine provision.
