"Managing symptoms is realistic; expecting complete healing at my age is just wishful thinking and denial."
How it sounds in your head: You're 65, not 25. Bodies decline with age—that's just biology. Expecting a miracle healing feels naive, like you're refusing to accept reality. The wise, mature thing is symptom management, medication compliance, adapting to limitations. Hoping for total healing seems foolish.
"Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?"
-- Jeremiah 32:27Source: World's age-based limitations + 'realistic' medicine + enemy disguising unbelief as maturity + cultural agreement with decline.
Medical professionals DO focus on management, not cure, especially for aging patients. Your body HAS changed with age. Expecting dramatic healing feels like setting yourself up for disappointment, and you've been disappointed before.
90 years old, decades past menopause, body incapable of conception by all biological standards. God visited her and she conceived and bore Isaac—body completely RENEWED to do what was medically impossible. Abraham was 100. Age was irrelevant to God's promise and power.
I REFUSE the lie that expecting complete healing at my age is unrealistic. IT IS WRITTEN: 'Is there ANYTHING too hard for Me?' The answer is NO. God doesn't have an age limit on miracles. IT IS WRITTEN in Numbers 23:19 that God does not lie—His promise to heal doesn't expire at 60 or 70 or 90. Like Sarah at 90, I expect God to RENEW my body regardless of age. Like Caleb at 85, I declare I am STRONG. The BARAK blessing strengthened Abraham's body at 100—that same blessing is MINE through Christ. Jesus is the SAME yesterday, today, forever—same HEALER at 65 as at 25. I expect TOTAL HEALING, not just management.
The Father sees you shuffling toward Him, convinced your age disqualifies you from His best, and He RUNS to you with the same resurrection power that's ageless, timeless, limitless—ready to do exceeding abundantly above all you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20) regardless of how many birthdays you've celebrated. He's not asking you to 'be realistic'; He's inviting you to believe Him.
