"Love was always conditional. Now that I can't meet conditions, it's gone."
How it sounds in your head: Be strong. Don't cry. Provide. Protect. Fix things. That's how you kept love. Now you can't do any of those things. You need help getting dressed. You forget names. You're weak. Watch the love evaporate now that you can't fulfill your end of the deal.

Criminal dying beside Jesus, contributed nothing, couldn't serve, couldn't prove himself, couldn't complete discipleship program. One moment of turning toward Jesus—'Today you will be with Me in Paradise.' From death row to Paradise in one sentence. Pure grace.

IT IS WRITTEN: nothing can separate me from the love of God—not weakness, not age, not inability, not failure. I am loved WHILE STILL, not loved IF ONLY. The cross is proof: His love never had conditions I could fail.
The Father is running toward you with more tenderness in your weakness than He had in your strength, because now you can see what was always true: His love was never about what you could do.
