"Just survive until Jesus returns instead of thriving and building Kingdom influence"
How it sounds in your head: Church keeps saying 'hold on, Jesus is coming soon.' So I guess I just... wait? Keep my head down, don't make waves, survive spiritually until the rapture? Building anything big feels presumptuous.
"And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten minas, and said unto them, Occupy till I come."
-- Luke 19:13Religion has twisted 'occupy til I come' into 'hide til I come,' making believers defensive instead of dominant.
Pastors emphasize endurance and 'making it through' the end times. The focus is survival, not expansion, which makes ambition feel unspiritual.
Caleb was 85 years old, at the literal end of his life, and instead of retiring to 'wait for heaven,' he said 'Give me this MOUNTAIN' and conquered the giants. He occupied til his last breath.
I REFUSE the lie that I should just survive until Jesus returns. IT IS WRITTEN that I'm commanded to OCCUPY - to do business, multiply, and take territory until He comes. Survival mode is not my assignment; dominion is. IT IS WRITTEN that the gates of hell will not prevail against the church, which means I'M ON OFFENSE. I am the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. The blessing of Abraham is on me - the same blessing that made Abraham exceedingly fruitful and a father of nations. I don't shrink back; I advance. I build, create, influence, and expand the Kingdom with every breath until He appears.
Your Father is running toward you with ASSIGNMENTS, not survival kits. He didn't position you in this generation to hide - He positioned you to OCCUPY, and He's already given you everything you need to thrive, not just survive.
