"I've waited long enough. I need to make this happen myself now."
How it sounds in your head: You can't just sit around forever waiting for God to do something. You're almost a teenager—you need to take control and fix this yourself. Faith without action is dead, right?
"In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength."
-- Isaiah 30:15Religious teaching twists 'faith without works' into self-reliance, making you the savior instead of resting in Christ.
You're at the age where you're starting to feel capable of solving your own problems. Waiting feels passive and weak when you could DO something.
Three armies surrounded Judah with impossible odds—Jehoshaphat didn't strategize or fight. He sent SINGERS ahead, and God caused the enemies to kill EACH OTHER while Judah watched—then spent three days collecting spoils without lifting a sword.
I REFUSE the lie that I must manufacture my own breakthrough. IT IS WRITTEN that in quietness and confidence is my strength—not in my schemes. I am under the BARAK blessing of Abraham through Christ's blood—provision flows TO me, not FROM me. My job is connection to the Vine, not production of fruit. IT IS WRITTEN that apart from Him I can do nothing, but IN Him breakthrough is automatic. I rest while the Father works. He commands blessings on my storehouses even while I sleep.
The Father isn't waiting for you to figure this out—He's waiting for you to REST so He can show His power. The breakthrough you're trying to force in flesh is already finished in heaven; just receive it.
