"I'm too tired to do anything significant. I don't have the energy I used to have."
How it sounds in your head: You wake up tired. You need naps. The boundless energy of your younger years is gone, replaced with fatigue that supplements and coffee can't fix. Big vision requires big energy, and yours is depleted.
"He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength... But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."
-- Isaiah 40:29-31Enemy voice equating physical weariness with spiritual incapacity and worldly hustle culture defining impact.
You feel it in your body. You can't pull the all-nighters, maintain the pace, or bounce back like you used to. Significant Kingdom work feels like it requires energy you no longer have.
Elijah was so exhausted after confronting 450 prophets of Baal that he collapsed under a tree and asked to die. God didn't rebuke him—He fed him, let him sleep, fed him again, and then ONE MEAL sustained him for 40 DAYS of travel to Horeb.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm too tired. IT IS WRITTEN that God gives POWER to the weak and INCREASES strength to those with no might. Elijah was sustained for 40 DAYS by one God-given meal. IT IS WRITTEN that those who wait on the Lord shall RENEW their strength and run without weariness. I am Abraham's seed, blessed with the BARAK covenant. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in ME. My energy isn't the source—HE is. I mount up with wings like EAGLES.
The Father isn't frustrated with your fatigue—He's inviting you to REST in Him so His strength can carry what yours cannot. Like Elijah, He's saying 'Let me feed you, let me sustain you,' and then watch what ONE TOUCH from Him accomplishes.
