"I'm too old now to experience the healing I needed when I was younger."
How it sounds in your head: That injury from college? That diagnosis from my twenties? Too much time has passed. If God was going to heal it, He would have done it already. I've adapted; I've learned to live with it.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust."
-- Joel 2:25Religion: the teaching that God has a 'window' for miracles and yours closed.
He's prayed for years with no change, adapted his life around the limitation. Doctors say chronic conditions get harder to reverse over time, and he's built an identity around managing his condition.
This man was sick for 38 YEARS—most of his life—waiting by the pool. Jesus didn't tell him 'you should have come sooner.' He said 'Rise, take up your bed and walk,' and IMMEDIATELY the man was made well.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm too old for the healing I need. IT IS WRITTEN that God restores the years the locust has eaten. Time does NOT diminish God's power—it magnifies His glory. The same Jesus who healed the man sick 38 YEARS heals me NOW. I am righteous by GIFT, not by how fast I got healed. The Father isn't waiting for the perfect timing; He's already prepared my breakthrough. IT IS WRITTEN: by His stripes I WAS healed—past tense, finished work. I receive my healing NOW by grace.
The Father doesn't see a timeline—He sees His beloved son, and He's RUNNING toward you with healing in His wings RIGHT NOW. He's not frustrated by how long it's taken; He's celebrating the breakthrough He's prepared for THIS MOMENT.
