I REFUSE the lie that my desire for close friendship is neediness! IT IS WRITTEN that there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother—my loyalty is a GIFT, not a flaw! I was created for deep connection, not surface-level relationships. IT IS WRITTEN in John 15:15 that Jesus calls me FRIEND—the God of the universe pursues friendship with ME! I will not apologize for texting first, for caring deeply, for noticing when I'm excluded. The Father made me relational, and the right people will CELEBRATE my investment, not shame it!
The Father sees you reaching out, caring deeply, investing in friendships, and He doesn't call you needy—He calls you LOYAL, FAITHFUL, a reflection of His own pursuing heart. He's already arranging friendships that will match your investment and celebrate your presence.
