"I'm too fat and disgusting for anyone to love me"
How it sounds in your head: I see myself in photos and want to hide. Kids make jokes about my weight. I feel like I take up too much space everywhere I go.
"I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well."
-- Psalm 139:14World's beauty standards replacing God's declaration over His creation
Media shows only fit people as desirable. Bullies target weight as an easy wound. He measures worth by pounds instead of position in Christ.
Zacchaeus was short, despised, and hiding in a tree. Jesus looked up and invited Himself to Zacchaeus' house immediately—full acceptance before any change, bringing instant salvation and transformation through encounter.
I REFUSE the lie that my body size determines my lovability. IT IS WRITTEN that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, crafted by a Father who calls His work marvelous. I am clothed in the righteousness of Christ, not measured by scales. The Abrahamic blessing flows through me—I am blessed coming in and going out, above only and not beneath. IT IS WRITTEN there is no condemnation for me. I receive my Father's embrace right now.
Your Father isn't waiting for you to lose weight before He loves you. He's running toward you now, robe and ring ready, calling you marvelous and wonderfully made exactly as you are today.
