"I'm too awkward and weird to make real friends"
How it sounds in your head: You say the wrong things. You laugh too loud or don't laugh when you should. Everyone else just gets it and you don't. You're the odd one out in every group and always will be.
"I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well."
-- Psalm 139:14Enemy assignment based on early rejection experiences and peer comparison culture that labels uniqueness as defect.
She's been left out of group chats, sat alone at lunch, or overheard whispers about being 'weird.' Social media shows her everyone else's curated friendships while her authentic self gets rejected.
Jeremiah said 'I'm just a youth, I don't know how to speak' and God said 'Do not say I am a youth—I am WITH you.' God chose the socially awkward teenager and made him a prophet to nations INSTANTLY.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm too awkward for friendship! IT IS WRITTEN that I am fearfully and wonderfully made—my personality is NOT a mistake. The Father RAN toward me when I was covered in pig-pen shame, and He calls my uniqueness MARVELOUS. IT IS WRITTEN in Jeremiah 1:8 'Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you.' I am BLESSED coming in and going out, in EVERY social situation. My quirks are COVENANT-PROTECTED, and the right friends are ASSIGNED to me by Heaven!
Your Father is running toward you RIGHT NOW, not waiting for you to be 'less weird.' He's already prepared friends who will LOVE your authentic self—ring, robe, sandals, party, TODAY.
