"I'm running out of time to make up for all my mistakes."
How it sounds in your head: You've made so many wrong choices. Hurt people. Failed. You're almost dead and there's no time left to fix it or make amends.
"And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."
-- Colossians 2:13-14Religion's lie - creates false narrative that she must atone for her past before death, denying Christ's finished work.
She can see people she hurt, amends unmade, consequences unfixed. Death feels like deadline for atonement.
Literally dying with zero time to make amends—couldn't get down from cross to fix anything. Jesus said 'TODAY you will be with Me in Paradise'—no time needed, no amends required, instant acceptance.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm running out of time to fix my mistakes. IT IS WRITTEN that God has forgiven ALL my trespasses and WIPED OUT what was against me. Nothing needs fixing. IT IS WRITTEN that God remembers my sins NO MORE. Jesus said 'It is FINISHED'—that includes my mistakes. I am under NO CONDEMNATION. I am covered by the BARAK blessing—blessed, accepted, complete. I declare: I am FINISHED in Christ. His finished work covers my unfinished business.
Father is embracing you saying, 'There is NOTHING left to fix—Jesus fixed it all. You are COMPLETE in Him, and I receive you with JOY exactly as you are.' The cross covered what you couldn't.
