"I'm invisible. People look right through me like I don't matter or exist."
How it sounds in your head: You're the friend people forget to invite, the woman whose contributions go unnoticed, the one easily replaced. You could disappear and no one would really notice or care.
"Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees; for she said, 'Have I also here seen Him who sees me?'"
-- Genesis 16:13Enemy using past experiences of being overlooked to create false identity of insignificance.
You've been talked over in meetings, forgotten in group texts, passed over for recognition you deserved. At midlife, culture tells you you're aging out of relevance, becoming invisible in a youth-obsessed world.
The unloved, unwanted wife competing with her beautiful sister—Scripture says 'the LORD saw that Leah was unloved' and opened her womb. She became mother of Judah, the Messianic line, because God sees and honors the overlooked.
I REFUSE the lie that I am invisible or insignificant. IT IS WRITTEN that I serve El Roi, the God Who SEES me—every moment, every struggle, every overlooked contribution. I am not defined by human recognition or cultural relevance. IT IS WRITTEN that the Lord saw Leah when she was unloved and made her the mother of kings. I am seen, celebrated, and significant to Heaven. The BARAK blessing rests on me because of covenant, not visibility. I am known by name by the King of Kings, and His opinion is the only one that defines me.
The Father doesn't overlook you—He's obsessed with you. While the world scrolls past, He's writing your name on His hands and singing songs over you that angels strain to hear.
