"I'm invisible and irrelevant to everyone now."
How it sounds in your head: People look past you, talk over you, ignore your opinions. You used to matter in rooms and conversations, but now you're the old woman no one listens to or sees.
"For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."
-- 1 Samuel 16:7Source: ageist culture that dismisses elderly voices and enemy using social rejection to hide your eternal value.
Younger people literally don't see you—in stores, in conversations, in family gatherings. Your experience and wisdom are dismissed as outdated, and you feel erased from spaces you once influenced.
Abandoned, pregnant, alone in the desert, invisible to everyone who mattered in society—just a discarded servant. God SAW HER, spoke to her, and she named Him 'El Roi—the God Who SEES me'—because when everyone else looked past her, GOD LOOKED DIRECTLY AT HER.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm invisible and irrelevant to everyone. IT IS WRITTEN in 1 Samuel 16:7 that man looks at outward appearance but the LORD LOOKS AT MY HEART—I am FULLY SEEN by the One whose opinion matters eternally. I am His JEWEL (Malachi 3:17), written in His book of remembrance, treasured and valued. IT IS WRITTEN that I am the apple of His eye (Zechariah 2:8)—not invisible, but the CENTER of His attention. I am under the BARAK blessing where I am the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath—ELEVATED in His eyes. I declare: Like Hagar, I worship EL ROI—the God Who SEES ME—because when the world looks past me, HEAVEN looks directly at me with delight.
The Father isn't looking past you—He's running toward you with eyes FULLY FIXED on you, the same God who saw Hagar abandoned in the desert and called her BY NAME. You are the apple of His eye, and every moment of your life is recorded in His book with more attention than the world gives its celebrities.
