"I'm in middle school so I'm too old to be a kid but too young to be important."
How it sounds in your head: You're stuck in the worst in-between. Too old for the fun kids' stuff but too young for anyone to take you seriously. Nobody asks your opinion. You're just... in the way until you're older.
"Now Solomon my son is young and inexperienced, and the house to be built for the LORD must be exceedingly magnificent."
-- 1 Chronicles 22:5World system - creating artificial stages that dismiss entire age groups. The enemy trying to silence you during formative years by convincing you that you don't exist yet.
You're literally between elementary and high school. Churches put you in 'youth group' which feels like a holding pen. Adults talk over you. Older teens ignore you. You feel invisible.
Called himself 'a little child' when God made him king. God responded by giving him supernatural wisdom that made him the wisest man on earth IMMEDIATELY, not after years of learning.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm trapped in an in-between stage where I don't matter. IT IS WRITTEN that David gave the Temple project to young, inexperienced Solomon because God doesn't wait for perfect timing. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus RIGHT NOW, not in high school, not in college, NOW. IT IS WRITTEN that out of the mouth of CHILDREN God ordains strength that silences enemies. I am a branch bearing fruit TODAY because fruit doesn't wait for the branch to feel ready. The BARAK blessing of Abraham flows through me by covenant, making me the head and not the tail at twelve years old. I am not too young for childhood and not too old for purpose - I am PERFECTLY positioned for this moment.
The Father sees you exactly where you are and calls it PERFECT. He's not waiting for you to reach high school. He's running toward you with assignments and authority NOW because you're His son and sons don't have waiting periods.
