"I'm a burden to my family—they'd have less stress and more money without me."
How it sounds in your head: You hear them fight about money. You know you're expensive—sports fees, food, clothes. Mom looks tired. Dad works overtime. It's because of you.
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
-- Philippians 4:19Enemy—twists provision into guilt; religion—'you must earn your keep' performance trap.
Overhear budget conversations. Christmas is smaller. Vacation got canceled. They said 'we can't afford that' when you asked for something.
Widow had ONE MEAL left for her and her son, then planned to die. Prophet showed up (another mouth to feed). She gave the last meal away—the flour and oil NEVER RAN OUT the entire famine. Adding another person MULTIPLIED provision.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm a financial burden or that my family struggles because of me. IT IS WRITTEN that God shall supply ALL need according to HIS RICHES in glory. My provision doesn't drain my parents—it flows from the FATHER. IT IS WRITTEN that I am of more value than birds, and He feeds them daily. I am not a burden—I'm a BLESSING. I carry the BARAK covenant—blessed in the city, blessed in the field, the Lord COMMANDS blessing on my family's storehouses. My presence MULTIPLIES provision.
The Father doesn't see you as expensive—He sees you as PRICELESS. He's not stressed about providing for you; He DELIGHTS in it, like any good father buying gifts for a beloved son.
