"I'll never own a home—bankruptcy destroyed that dream forever."
How it sounds in your head: Homeownership was supposed to be secure by now, maybe even paid off. Instead, you're disqualified. Renting in your sixties, no equity building, no place that's truly yours. Bankruptcy didn't just take what you had—it took what you'll never have. The American dream is dead for you.
"In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."
-- John 14:2Agreement with worldly system that bankruptcy permanently closes doors; belief that homeownership is the measure of financial success and stability; despair over lost 'normal' milestones.
Mortgage underwriting has strict bankruptcy timelines—typically two to four years minimum before qualifying. At fifty-plus, that feels like forever. Watching rent payments that 'could have been equity' is painful. Homeownership represents stability, and bankruptcy feels like it stole that security permanently.
Abraham was promised the ENTIRE LAND as an inheritance but lived his whole life in TENTS, owning nothing but a burial cave he purchased. He never saw the fulfillment, yet Hebrews calls him a hero of faith. His descendants inherited cities they didn't build and houses they didn't fill—supernatural transfer of property.
I REFUSE the lie that bankruptcy stole homeownership from me forever. IT IS WRITTEN in John 14:2 that my Father is preparing a MANSION for me—if He's handling eternity, He can handle a mortgage. Abraham lived in tents but his seed inherited CITIES and HOUSES they didn't build. IT IS WRITTEN in Deuteronomy 6:10-11 that God gives houses FULL OF GOOD THINGS which I did not fill. The BARAK blessing on Abraham's seed includes supernatural property transfer and provision. My Father owns the earth and everything in it—no underwriter outranks Him. I am an heir of God and joint-heir with Christ. My HOME is coming—supernaturally if necessary, but it's COMING.
While you're staring at denial letters, your Father is preparing something BETTER than you lost. He's not limited to conventional financing—He specializes in giving people houses full of good things they didn't work for. He's the God of SUDDEN PROVISION.
