"I'll never have energy like other boys my age; something's wrong with me."
How it sounds in your head: They can run and play all day, but I get tired so fast. There must be something broken in my body that can't be fixed. I'm defective compared to everyone else.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
-- Philippians 4:13Comparison curse from the enemy: measuring your insides against everyone else's outsides, creating false deficiency.
You SEE other kids with energy but don't see their exhausted moments at home. Your internal experience feels uniquely broken when you're actually just growing at a different rate.
Mephibosheth was crippled in both feet, completely unable to do what other men did. David brought him to the palace, gave him ALL of Saul's land, and he ate at the king's table EVERY DAY like a prince—permanent provision despite permanent disability.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm defective or broken. IT IS WRITTEN that I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me—not through my body's performance but through HIS power. I am NOT comparing myself to other boys anymore because my strength doesn't come from my flesh. My Father made my body EXACTLY as He intended, and He calls it GOOD. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 139:14 that I am fearfully and wonderfully made—no defects, no mistakes. Christ's strength in me is LIMITLESS, and I receive it NOW.
Your Father isn't comparing you to anyone. He sees you as His perfectly-made son, and He's already given you ACCESS to infinite strength—you're just believing the enemy's comparison game.
