"I'll never get hired because other candidates are better qualified and more experienced."
How it sounds in your head: There are always people ahead of you. Older, smarter, more experienced. You're competing against high schoolers, college kids, adults. You'll always be at the bottom of the list. Why would anyone pick you?
"The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but deliverance is of the LORD."

Applications ask for experience he doesn't have. Job postings list requirements he doesn't meet. He sees older kids and adults who objectively have more credentials and assumes he'll always lose the comparison game.
Peter was an uneducated fisherman with ZERO theological training or religious credentials. Jesus picked him INSTANTLY over all the seminary-trained Pharisees to become the foundation of the church and preach to thousands.
I REFUSE the lie that I lose to more qualified candidates. IT IS WRITTEN that deliverance is of the LORD—not credentials, not experience, not competition. God chose fishermen over Pharisees, a shepherd over soldiers, the weak over the mighty. IT IS WRITTEN that the BLESSING OF ABRAHAM is mine through Christ—favor that makes me the head and not the tail, chosen over those who 'should' win on paper. I am not competing; I am APPOINTED. People say YES to me by divine influence. Favor over qualifications. Doors open supernaturally. I am BLESSED.
Your Father isn't running a merit-based competition—He's orchestrating appointments. He's already decided the outcome, prepared the position, and is now moving hearts to recognize what He's chosen.
