How it sounds in your head: Grandma has a whole bag of pills. My mom just started taking medicine for headaches. Adults are always at doctor appointments. It seems like the older you get, the more medical help you need. I guess that'll be me too someday.

Enemy whispers: You'll need more medicine as you age. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Jeremiah 30:17 - I will RESTORE health to you and HEAL you of your wounds, says the Lord. Not manage your symptoms—HEAL you. Chronic sickness is a CURSE (Deuteronomy 28:59-61—prolonged sicknesses not written in the law). Christ took that curse. You're under the BLESSING. By His stripes you WERE healed (1 Peter 2:24)—past tense, already finished. The BARAK protected Abraham's entire household. Moses needed no medicine at 120. Your body knows how to heal itself because the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead DWELLS in you and gives LIFE to your mortal body (Romans 8:11). You're not headed toward pharmaceutical dependence—you're headed toward ABUNDANT LIFE.
