"I'll die without ever feeling truly loved. It's too late now."
How it sounds in your head: I'm on borrowed time and I still feel empty. I thought by 90 I'd feel loved, secure, at peace. But I don't. And there's no time left to find it. I'll die with this ache still inside me.
"Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness."
-- Lamentations 3:22-23Enemy uses time pressure to create urgency and hopelessness about receiving love.
You're facing death and the hunger for love hasn't faded—it's INTENSIFIED. The enemy uses your limited time as proof it's too late, that you'll die without ever experiencing the love you've craved your whole life.
Simeon waited his ENTIRE LIFE to see the Messiah, growing old without the promise fulfilled. At the END of his life, the Spirit brought baby Jesus to him and he said 'NOW I can die in peace'—fulfillment came in the final chapter.
I REFUSE the lie that it's too late to feel loved. IT IS WRITTEN that His compassions are NEW EVERY MORNING—His love is fresh for me RIGHT NOW, regardless of time left. The Father isn't withholding until I die; He's POURING OUT this moment. Simeon received his promise at LIFE'S END; so can I. IT IS WRITTEN in John 6:37 that whoever comes to Him, He will NEVER cast out. I am LOVED now, fully, finally, forever.
The Father isn't waiting until heaven to love you; He's loving you FIERCELY right now, in this bed, this room, this moment. His love isn't a distant promise—it's a present reality, saturating every breath you take, every fear you feel. You are BELOVED now.
